Bio
Joseph Fulkerson was born on February 22nd,1979. He has been writing since 2012.
He has self-published two collections of poetry: ‘The Glenmore Sessions’ and ‘3 a.m. Blues’. He also has a collection of haiku titled ‘Thunderheads’ published through Red Moon Press. He is working on a short story collection currently untitled.
In addition to these collections, He has published pieces in the following journals: The Esthetic Apostle, Verbatim, Modern Haiku, Heron’s Nest, Presence, Acorn, Akitsu, Frogpond, HSA Anthology 2018, Pegasus, HorrorSleezeTrash, and Leaning Into Reeds: The RED Moon Anthology of English-Language Haiku 2019.
He is involved with a few local spoken word poetry series, and a member of the Midwest Writers Guild. He currently lives and works in Owensboro, Ky with his wife, son, and two crazy dogs.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a ride!"
